  Red Rooster at Summer Hill recently had renovations done and they needed it as I think the place had not been renovated since it opened 20-30 years ago. This particular Red Rooster is very quiet and doesn't get a lot of customers compared with the one at Carlton. It is a better idea to get takeaway as there are only 3 seats inside and one table. Staff can be a bit off on another planet sometimes, you can hear them laughing and joking about pointless stuff instead of working, food comes out reasonably quickly though surprisingly. Generally most of the time they get the orders right, only a couple of mishaps, once my girlfriend wanted coleslaw but no gravy and she repeated it with the girl 3 times and they still gave her gravy. Another time they forgot to put the nuggets in and another time they forgot to give us sauce even though my girlfriend said 3 times "Don't forget the extra sauce".
